Cylinder Filling Supervisor

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Direct approximately 15 employees for Cylinder Filling Production.
Complete performance reviews, salary reviews, approval of training plans, collaborating in work-hazard evaluations, provide feedback to employees often on recognition or desired improvements.
Attend monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment
Improve performance of the operation as measured by defined reporting indices.
Communication with inter-departments, or outside customers when needed for support or problem resolution.
Provide status reports regarding on-going operations
Ensure departments are properly maintained including housekeeping of the work area.
Ensure that all standard operating procedures are accurately documented and followed
Ensure operation meets or exceeds all safety procedures and standards. Safety is a condition of continued employment.
Quality is integral and is enforced as a part of every job function. The established Quality System must be followed and any deficiency reported.
Monitor and document employee attendance.
Documentation and investigation of material/equipment failures.
General Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required or 7-10 years of relevant experience
Strong communicator who builds and establishes strong lines of communication with production employees and senior management
Strong analytical skills and vision to forecast and implement most successful course of action for the company in a highly competitive environment
Minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent
Supervisory experience required
ISO-9000 series knowledge preferred.
Ability to work in and promote a team environment
Computer skills required
Ability to direct employees while following all established policies and procedures

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
