Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum - Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program - Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's development - Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies - Follow all licensing regulations and maintain necessary documentation Skills - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Familiarity with special education strategies for supporting children with diverse needs - Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting - Understanding of child welfare guidelines and procedures - Knowledge of early intervention techniques for addressing developmental delays - Ability to incorporate literacy education into daily activities - Proficiency in providing toddler care, including diapering, feeding, and naptime routines - Strong math skills to introduce basic concepts through hands-on activities - Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students as needed If you are passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on young lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
